Woven Grid Bleeding Through

1994, papers, gouache and ink, 30 x 22 inches.

This is purely a formal piece, cut up out of my favorite paper Moulin du Gué, that I discovered in paris when I took printmaking. It is air.  And then the whole back of the piece is painted so that it bleeds through.  The back is not part of the work, though the front is totally reliant upon it.
