Small Mandala

2004, dots, papers, holes, size?

Dictionary: “A mandala (Sanskrit: मण्डल, lit, circle) is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Indian religions, representing the universe. In common use, “mandala” has become a generic term for any diagram, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically; a microcosm of the universe.”

I have represented this “Small Mandala” with  continuous circles and holes.  The holes that become dots then go somewhere else on the same artwork.  It is a constant movement. I would like to  make it bigger, much bigger.  Sadly, I am really challenged to get the hole punch to go through thick paper like this.  Maybe one day I will make it bigger when I am feeling very strong.
