2019, hobby grass, photographs, thread, string and ink on paper, 12 ¾ x 10 inches.

This is a study inspired by Baldessari. The outside section is hobby grass which is used for hobby modeling. The next part is photographs of grass and the inside bit is photographs of papers that I had covered with hobby grass.  I am kind of obsessed by grass and lawns and our perceptions of nature vs. reality. Frankly, nothing about a lawn is natural.
