We always say an arc en ciel, (rainbow) but this is an “arc en terre” (earth rainbow which is not the exact translation because it is better in French.) It is the etherial outer arching crust of our earth which is  sometimes green and colourful and where we see glorious life. There are a few roots here too because I cannot control myself lately and it is still part of the crust.
